The T to resume shuttles to Arlington stadium for Cowboys plus 3 college games

*Cowboys Coaches will start Sept. 4 with TCU-OS game for $10 roundtrip and $5 to park in TRE lot

FORT WORTH (July 21, 2010) – The T announced at its board of directors meeting today that it will resume the popular Cowboys Coach shuttles to the Arlington stadium for the Cowboys 2010 regular season and playoff games, and to the stadium’s three scheduled fall college games.

The Cowboys Coach service will start September 4 with the TCU – Oregon State game.

The cost is $10 round trip to ride and $5 to park at The Trinity Railway Express T&P Station lot on the south side of the station at 200 W. Vickery Street.  Tickets must be purchased for cash only on site at the T&P Station prior to boarding.

Buses will begin loading from the T&P Station lot two hours prior to kick-off with the last bus leaving an hour prior to game time. Gates to the T&P Station 350-vehicle capacity parking lot will open an hour before bus loading starts. The buses will begin their return to the T&P Station after the end of the game as each bus is filled, with the last bus leaving no later than an hour following the game.

The T decided to continue the service to provide convenient transportation for Fort Worth residents and because of positive customer response during The T’s inaugural Cowboys Coach shuttles to the new Arlington stadium in 2009, said President Dick Ruddell.

The T’s Cowboys game shuttle buses will park at a dedicated lot 900 feet from the stadium.  It is about a ten minute walk from the parking lot along sidewalks to the stadium.
