* The T’s bus shuttles depart from TRE’s T&P Station and pick up downtown at trolley stops near major hotels
FORT WORTH (December 28, 2011) – The T will operate round trip Cowboys Coach bus service to the Cotton Bowl game on Friday, Jan. 6, at Cowboys Stadium with departures from the Trinity Railway Express T&P Station starting at 5 p.m. – two hours before the scheduled kick-off.
Downtown Fort Worth visitors, or other game-goers, also may hitch a ride to the T&P Station’s Cowboys Coach boarding area from Molly the Trolley stops near major downtown hotels. A Cowboys Coach bus will make three circulations starting at the Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel “Molly” stop at 5 p.m., 5:20 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. followed by pick-ups at additional Molly the Trolley stops along Commerce, 2nd and Houston Streets.
Cost for the Cowboys Coach shuttles to the Cotton Bowl is $10 round trip and $5 to park a vehicle at the T&P Station park and ride lot at 200 W. Vickery Boulevard. There is no extra charge to ride the Cowboys Coach bus from downtown trolley stops to the T&P Station boarding area.
Tickets must be purchased for cash only on site at the T&P Station park and ride lot prior to boarding. Transit passes are not valid for Cowboys Coaches.
The Cowboys Coach buses will depart for the game from the T&P Station park and ride lot as each bus is filled starting at 5 p.m. with the last bus leaving at 6 p.m.
Cowboys Coaches will begin their return to the T&P Station after the end of the game as each bus is filled, with the last bus leaving no later than an hour following the game. The buses also will return riders to downtown Molly the Trolley stops.
The T’s Cowboys Coaches park in a dedicated lot about a ten minute walk to the stadium entrance.
