FORT WORTH (September 2, 2009) – The T announced today that it will begin Cowboys game shuttles from Fort Worth to regular season games at the new stadium in Arlington starting on September 20.
The cost is $5 round trip to ride The T’s Cowboy Coaches and $5 to park at The T’s T&P Station lot on the south side of the station at 200 W. Vickery Street. Tickets must be purchased for cash only on site at the T&P Station prior to boarding. No advanced sales.
“The T decided to offer the Cowboy Coaches due to customer interest and to provide convenient transportation from Fort Worth, whose sales taxes fund The T,” said Dick Ruddell, president of The T.
Buses will begin loading from the T&P Station lot two hours prior to kick-off with the last bus leaving an hour prior to game time. People planning to park at the T&P Station should arrive early as the park and ride lot capacity is 350 vehicles.
The shuttles will begin their return after the game as each bus is filled, with the last bus leaving no later than an hour following the game.
The T’s Cowboy Coaches will park at a lot 900 feet from the stadium. It is about a ten minute walk from the parking lot to the stadium.
