*The T will operate Cowboy Coach service to the Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day
*The T’s buses free on Friday after 4 p.m. to reduce traffic to downtown “Parade of Lights”
FORT WORTH (November 18, 2009) -- The T will operate the following schedule during the Thanksgiving holidays.
*On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, The T’s regular bus service and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will not operate. Customer service and administrative offices will be closed. However, The T will provide Cowboy Coach service to the Dallas Cowboys game, with bus departures from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. from the TRE’s T&P Station park and ride lot at 200 W. Vickery Blvd.
*On Friday, November 27, The T’s buses will follow a regular schedule and the Trinity Railway Express will operate on a Saturday schedule, plus two early morning trains to accommodate commuters. Customer service phone lines will be open. Administrative offices will be closed.
The T’s bus service will be free on Friday after 4 p.m., to encourage use of transit to the Chesapeake Energy Parade of Lights in Sundance Square that starts at 6:00 p.m.
