Field Trips on the T
The T would be happy to help you plan the transportation for your next field trip. There are many exciting places to explore in Fort Worth that are fun and educational for your students.
Riding scheduled T buses, trolleys and TRE trains to these places adds to your adventure by giving your students a sense of independence. You can show them how important public transportation is in keeping the environment clean and how the T can help save money in parking, gasoline, insurance and wear and tear on their vehicle when they get older.
This program is not limited to schools but is also available to scout troops, student groups, Community Centers, student programs, etc.

DOWNTOWN CIRCULATOR SERVICE TO COWBOY SHUTTLE BOARDING!

Cowboy Coach will serve the downtown area with pickups at Molly the Trolley stops close to the major hotels (see map).
How it works:
Starting at the "Molly Stop" outside the Sheraton Hotel ( 2 hours before the official game time for Cowboys games - 4 hours before kickoff on College games)  a Cowboy stadium shuttle will circulate the downtown area, stopping at each boarding point shown on the map. (it's about 14 minutes between Sheraton & Omni)
The shuttle will deliver passengers to the Cowboy Coach boarding area on Vickery Blvd. at the T&P rail station where riders can get a ticket and board the Cowboy Coach to the game.
The shuttle will repeat this process 20 minutes after the first trip and again 40 minutes after the first trip for a total of 3 trips between downtown and the Cowboy Coach boarding area.

Downtown Cowboy Shuttle Route

On return from the game, downtown destination passengers should remain on the bus as it drops off at the Vickery Park & Ride. The bus will then make a trip through downtown (see map) to drop you off.

TCU - Amon G. Carter Stadium

AMON CARTER STADIUM GAMEDAY SCHEDULING

TO TCU FROM
The Intermodal Transportation Center
On game days, 3 hours prior to official start of game, added buses will begin departing Bus Bay A at the ITC every 15 minutes. Trip time to TCU, one-way, is approximately 25 minutes.
GETTING TO THE ITC:
In the downtown area, use Molly the Trolley. Molly is a free service that circulates, every 15 minutes, along Main & Houston Streets, and serves the major hotels with a stop at the ITC. Look for "Molly" boarding signs close to hotels.
The ITC is also served by 22 Local T routes and the Trinity Railway Express, commuter rail to/from Dallas.
USING TRINITY RAILWAY EXPRESS:
When using TRE service between Dallas Union Station and Fort Worth's ITC or T&P stations, always plan your trip with connecting service departure/arrival in mind if you are accessing DART or DCTA.

TO TCU FROM
Vickery Park & Ride behind the T&P Station
All Rt. 7 buses will stop at the Vickery Street Park & Ride (approx. 3 minutes from ITC) before continuing along the regular 7 Route to the game. Access the Park & Ride from the 200 block of Vickery Street.

FROM TCU BACK TO ITC or VICKERY P&R.
After the Game - Board where you got off, at the stop on University by Kroger and ride around the Circle (traffic may make it inconvenient for pedestrians to cross to the northbound Devitt stop). Buses will make stops at the Vickery lot for your car and at the ITC for your Molly, bus or train connection. Route 7 Shuttle bus will run every 15 minutes for 1 hour after the game is over.

COST:
Purchasing a Local Day Pass at the ticket kiosk inside the ITC, or onboard the bus, is the easy round-trip way to go -$3.50 for adult or $1.75 for those qualifying for Reduced fare (exact change required on the bus). If you have a valid TRE day pass, Local multi-day pass, EPass or TCU Transit Pass, those will cover your fare also.
