Transfer Terms & Conditions

You cannot back-track along a route you've already traveled. For example, if you are traveling along Lancaster going East on one bus, transfering will not allow you to travel West along the same part of Lancaster, even if it's a different bus.

Transfer eligibility is available in only one direction.

Using Bus Transfers as TRE Fare

Valid transfers from The T bus service may be used to board TRE for the West Zone of travel. You must pay an additional $1.00 to travel in the East Zone.

Transfers are free on the TRE for up to four hours.

Using Your TRE Ticket to Transfer

TRE transfers are free. Your TRE ticket can be used for up to two hours worth of transfers on The T bus or trolley.
