Safari Shuttle Fort Worth Zoo


Shuttle to the Fort Worth Zoo (seasonal service)

Zoo service beginning:
Saturday, March 12 through Sunday, March 20, 2016. 

For your convenience, the Safari Shuttle leaves on the hour and 1/2 hour from the ITC rail station at 1001 Jones St., downtown. Board the shuttle to the zoo at "Bus Bay A" at the ITC. Returning to the ITC is simple -board where you got off. Return trips from the Zoo board every 30 minutes (see scheduled times below).

Safari Shuttle to the Fort Worth Zoo-The nationally acclaimed Fort Worth Zoo has been ranked the No. 5 zoo in the nation by USA Travel Guide and the No. 1 attraction in the DFW Metroplex by Zagat survey. The Zoo is home to more than 500 animal species and a world-famous reptile collection, housed in the Museum of Living Art (MOLA). The institution’s focus on education and conservation is second to none, enhancing the lives of more than 1 million visitors a year.

Take the FWTA Spring Break Safari Shuttle for Easy Access to Fort Worth Zoo  
The Safari Shuttle bus will run an express service from the FWTA downtown Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) to and from the Fort Worth Zoo’s main parking lot entrance on Colonial Parkway during spring break.

The FWTA round-trip Day Pass for the Safari Shuttle is $3.50 for adults, $1.75 for children 18 and under and seniors 65 and older (with transit agency reduced ID card), and free for children under 5.

Zoo visitors arriving from Dallas and the Mid-Cities by the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) train may ride the Safari Shuttle from the ITC free of charge by using their TRE day pass ticket or with a valid weekly, monthly or annual regional pass.

The Fort Worth Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $14 for adults, $10 for seniors and children (ages 3 to 12), and toddlers 2 and under are free. Admission is half-price every Wednesday.
