"Thank You" to the hundreds of survey respondents who have participated in the National Dump the Pump June 8 transit awareness campaign by pledging to try The T's transit services.
In response to continued high gas prices, the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) announced that it will participate in National Dump the Pump Day on June 8 to encourage residents to try public transit for at least one trip.
The T will join with other public transportation systems throughout the country to demonstrate that public transit can help ease the high cost of driving. National Dump the Pump Day is sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), a non-profit association of more than 1,600 member organizations, including almost 400 public transit agencies. |
