FREE FAMILY FRIDAYS - 2008

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is proud to offer Free Family Fridays. The monthly event was created with the primary goal of making the Museum and its educational opportunities more accessible to the community. Free Family Fridays provide free exhibit admission to all guests one evening a month, usually on the last Friday of every month.

Free Family Fridays went on temporary hiatus last year while the Museum closed in preparation for construction of its new campus. Now the Museum has relocated some of its exhibits to the first floor of the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame next door and Free Family Fridays are back! Plus, Free Family Fridays offer an even more enhanced experience as it also includes free admittance to the National Cowgirl Museum exhibits upstairs. Come enjoy hands-on activities from the Museum of Science and History’s ExploraZone, KIDSPACE, Hands On Studio and Preview Center and the Cowgirl experience – for free!

 Throughout 2008, Free Family Fridays will continue to offer free admission to both exhibit experiences
from 3 to 7 p.m.
on the last Friday of every month (October excluded).

THE T GETS YOU HERE
By train: Take TRE into the ITC station and transfer to local buses.
Bus: Three bus routes serve the Museum/Cultural District:
Route 16 Rosedale/Montgomery (service every hour, 1/4 block from museum)
Route 2 Camp Bowie (service every 15 minutes, 1 1/2 blocks from museum)
Route 7 University (service every 1/2 hour, 3 blocks from museum)
