Take Public Transit to MAIN ST Fort Worth Arts Festival, April 19-22
- TRE Station at Intermodal Transportation Center Just 3 Short Blocks Away - FORT WORTH (April 16, 2007) – With many streets reserved only for pedestrians, public transit may be the best way to go to the MAIN ST Arts Festival, April 19 – 22. Take a bus or the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) to The Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) at Jones and 9th Streets, just three short blocks from the festival area. The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) has arranged to extend the last Thursday and Friday night TRE trains all the way to Dallas Union Station. The last eastbound weekday train normally ends at CenterPort. Instead, it will leave the ITC Station at 10:35 p.m. arriving at Dallas Union Station at 11:36 p.m. On Saturday, the last TRE train departs the ITC Station at 10 p.m. arriving at Dallas Union Station at 11:05 p.m. Eastbound and westbound TRE trains will stop at all stations in between Fort Worth and Dallas.
