ROAD SCHOLARS |
PROGRAM PARTICIPATION |
![]() Field Trips on the T The T would be happy to help you plan the transportation for your next field trip. There are many exciting places to explore in Fort Worth that are fun and educational for your students. Riding scheduled T buses, trolleys and TRE trains to these places adds to your adventure by giving your students a sense of independence. You can show them how important public transportation is in keeping the environment clean and how the T can help save money in parking, gasoline, insurance and wear and tear on their vehicle when they get older. This program is not limited to schools but is also available to scout troops, student groups, Community Centers, student programs, etc |
1. Decide where you want to take your class and the date you wish to go. Field trips should take place between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm weekdays and must be round trip.
2. Let us know how many students and adults will be riding. We recommend groups of 20 or less. If your class is larger, please call and the T will do all we can to accommodate your group. 3. Print out the Trip Planning Guide , fill it in and fax or mail to the T at least two (2) weeks prior to the trip. 4. The round trip cost for Road Scholars is free. You may have to transfer to another bus en route to your destination. 5. Upon receipt at the T of your Planning Guide, your Road Scholars Kit will be mailed to you containing the following: >Road Scholars passes Keep in mind this is not a special charter service. Your class will ride with other passengers. |
