The T’s Strategic Plan Process - Now Complete The T’s Strategic Plan will provide the long-range strategy for public transportation in the region over the next 25 years. As part of this process, the T has gathered information about the Fort Worth region, transportation trends, state-of-the-art technologies and the public’s desires for public transportation. | Public Involvement The Plan was developed with the most intensive public involvement effort the T had ever undertaken. Public involvement consisted of focus group meetings, on-site transit user interviews, a Tarrant County-wide telephone survey and two rounds of public meetings. Over 1,000 comments were received. | The T’s Board members have reviewed all of the information gathered then considered and approved changes to the agency’s mission statement and goals for meeting public transportation needs. The results and history of The T's Strategic Planning Process are available as document downloads below. The T wishes to thank everyone who responded and contributed to the process. The future holds many challenges for public transportation and The T will continue to solicit customer, stakeholder and public comment to implement the goals established by your vision. |
